Glenn Family Foundation Aids Homeless Kids

The Atlanta Children’s Shelter (ACS) has been selected to receive a $100,000 matching grant from The Wilbur and Hilda Glenn Family Foundation. The Foundation will match, up to $100,000, every dollar donated to ACS from a new donor or a donor who has not given to ACS in the past 12 months.

“The shelter has risen to one of our community’s greatest challenges over the past 25 years by helping thousands of homeless families with young children achieve stable employment and permanent housing,” said ACS Executive Director Sandra Keating. “We are privileged to have the Glenn Family Foundation support our mission and are hopeful that other members of the community will rise to their grant challenge.

“The mission of ACS is vital to the Atlanta community,” said Suzanna Stribling, director of the Glenn Family Foundation. “The foundation’s desire is that our challenge grant will help the Atlanta Children’s Shelter broaden its donor base to promote greater long-term support and sustainability.”
